It's very old and rundown, needs some TLC...Eagle river is only 10 miles away... Enough said about this....

The OV is a family favorite. We've always loved the breakfast brunch on weekends-- great for all sizes of families. My family usually sticks to the bar and visits with everyone from town, and order a big pizza to share. Heads up, the 16" pizza is $2 off on Sunday! If you're looking for classic cocktails, extremely cold beer (in frosty mugs), this is the place. They're also open every day of the week for dinner -- which is great for Mondays. Love all of the staff here, and karaoke on Friday & Saturday with Donna is the best!!

Great food, we stopped by for a small breakfast on a Sunday Am, and found out they only serve the buffet so we decided On that, we were soooo glad we did! Omelette station, waffles Extra thick bacon, sausage (just ok) itialian sausage, ribs, it's Just a very nice large selection so if you have a picky eater like My husband is they will have no problem finding lots to eat. Four different cakes that were all very good. Will go back!! Not sure what's up with the negative reviews! Yes the decor could use an update but I'll take good food Over decor any day!!

Prices too low, so food quality is not the best. I suppose if you're broke and haven't eaten for a few days it might be good. The bar is good though, with nice locals.

If you're stone drunk and are just looking to put in your stomach this place might be barely acceptable. Service is poor and the food is worse. Unfortunately zero stars wasn't available for this review

Had a great Sunday brunch at a reasonable price. Very good selection: dessert table with at least 7 or 8 items (all good); waffle station; juice station; omelet bar (the Mexican & Denver) were great; reasonable selection of fresh fruit; eggs benedict (slightly dry, but good tasting); full array of breakfast sausage, crisp bacon, breakfast potatoes; plenty of "lunch" items including meatballs (fantastic!), short BBQ ribs, fried chicken, roast ham, lots of sides. PLUS, the staff was very friendly even though it was busy. Check out their display of Skip Wagner photos/memorabilia. He doesn't play there any more, but he was an institution for years and Oneida Village was his "home stage". The kids loved the funky tree trunk full of carved NorthWoods animals in the middle of the parking lot. There's a lot to like here!

I've been coming to this place for a while and they embody everything that's good about dining up north. The prices are good, the food is great and the employees are down to earth and helpful, even to a flat lander such as I. The steaks while good, are even better if you pair the horseradish or bleu cheese with it. The twice baked potatos are crispy golden brown pockets of creamy goodness. The salad bar boasts the usual ingredients but the home made dressings (like Mom made) put it over the top. They include it with just about any food purchase which is nice. Try the thick creamy dill, it's fantastic. The soups are also very good. I prefer their nice thick clam chowder. Being from Chicago, I know a bit about pizza and OV has very good pizza. The cajun shrimp and sausage is my favorie. The shrimp are huge and it has a real nice kick. Their sunday buffet is an excellent value. Has the Eggs Benedict been sitting out too long? Well they'll make you a fresh batch and ask you how you like your yolks. Stop if your in town. This place has character and is a great value. In a world of restaurants doing things half assed, these folks are good at what they do.

Best old-fashioned I've ever had! Featuring freshly mashed bitters. This place has not changed at all with the times, which is exactly what one can hope for when seeking a genuine up north Wisconsin experience! The restaurant staff were friendly, sincere, and provided excellent service. The food was great and a great deal as well. Homemade twice baked potatoes and solid salad bar, tasty house dressing. On the motel end, however, overpriced relative to the quality, where it's not so great that nothing's changed - rock hard mattresses, thin old bedding, paper thin walls.

This is a review of the brunch buffet from 9-1PM on sundays. AMAZING! the staff is so nice also. DO get the Taco omlette, belgian waffle & fruit. Great little stop over if your out camping.

I got a nice e mail from the owner of this establishment pointing out that there are a couple of errors in my review. The prime rib is USDA choice and the wood is not fake. The owner seems to really care about her restaurant and is committed to providing a value oriented meal experience. I apologize for the fact that this update is very late in the writing.
